technologically impaired ...

It seems that I am quite the genius when it comes to computers ... for instance,  I started this blog months ago and could not get back onto it no matter what I did ... and had to start again.  Technologically impaired.  Maybe I am not destined to write down my random thoughts ...

Well the world of parenting advice and follow through has shown me in the past few weeks exactly what I want to avoid when I have kids of my own.  Three to five hour sit down "discussions" that really turn out to be a tirade at me of things I can improve on and mistakes I need to avoid making, really do wonders for a parent / daughter relationship.

"You can come to me with anything ... You should be able to talk to me about anything ..."

Words.

I love my parentals ... they have given me more than most people get in this world.  And their actions are made even more frustrating when you know its out of love rather than control / self-pleasure.  Parents don't want their kids to make the same mistakes they did but how much can their children learn from listening to second-hand experiences and being sheltered.  If this life is about learning and gaining knowledge I don't believe you can feed off that of others around you.  Somehow, somewhere along the line, you have to suck in a deep breathe and take that step out into your own world of hurt and pain and love and happiness.

We don't stay 7 year olds in tou-tous and spiderman suits.

So I've decided to join the big bad world of blogging ... maybe I will finally record something about my life on a regular basis. Let's face it ... when your dad decides to read your own journal to you one day to try and make a parenting point ... that really stops the whole journal writing process. So I am a 19 year old brunette ... truly unique and carrying so much baggage I could feed half the world's population.

But let's face it ... I make life interesting(;
